Tamriel consists of nine provinces: Black Marsh, Cyrodiil (the Imperial Province), Elsweyr, Hammerfell, High Rock, Morrowind, Skyrim, Summurset Isles, Valenwood. Each province has it's own history and is inhabited by different races. Each race has it's own culture, religion etc. For more information about TES lore we invite you to The Imperial Library ( http://til.gamingsource.net/ ).

Perhaps it'd be an idea to recruit at the official Elder Scrolls forums? Or do you think that they don't accept ES mods for other games?

I think it'd be an idea to go recruiting on the official Elder Scrolls-forums.

Unless of course they (Bethesda) do not accept ES mods for other games...

EDIT: What the smurf am I doing?

    Lol, triple post

Bad idea. Bethesda does not want anyone else to use some of their stuff or or even concepts.

You might want to try and get hold of Kscott, he made a map for Tamriel, or at least started one.

    Thanks for the tip.

EDIT: It's just a grey-scale converted (inaccurate) map that I've seen on the TES wiki a couple of times.

    Thanks anyway

I do know about Tamriel Demographics quite a bit.
For exemple, based on lore, Cyrodiil would be in fact, contrary to popular beliefs, a very tropical region. Its main export would be rice, dies and of course manufactured products. The main valley of the Niben River/Bay is very agricultural.

I can do that to pretty much every provinces.

If I'd gave you a base map_regions map with the nine provinces, would you be able to draw about 190 regions ?

Quick question: Are you going to model the settlements exactly after the ones in TES4, or are you going to use generic ones?

Recommendation: Whoever you hire for the mapping should own a copy of TES4 for refrence.

Well, I'm the mapper and I have both TES3 and 4 but according to our specialist Cyrodiil is inaccurate in Tes4 (no palmtrees etc. xD)
