Can't hire mercs? (UAI 1.3)

I just downloaded Ultimate AI 1.3 and started playing a game as Venice and can't seem to hire mercenaries. The option is always grayed out, claiming there aren't any in the area to hire. I also had the same problem as England.

I launched Vanilla and have no troubles at all hiring mercs. Are there any files I'm missing, or should move into the UAI folder?

That file was missing in the 1.3 package. Try using this one, placing it in the folder \ultimateAI\data\world\maps\campaign\imperial_campaign\.

Yes that worked perfectly, thank you :-). I tried moving that same file from Vanilla into UAI but it didn't work. No matter though.
