    Default The 2007 NBA Playoffs

Whos winning the NBA championship? Since my hometown Pacers are not in the playoffs for the first time in 10 years I think I'm going for the Cavs or the Bulls to win it all. (Although the Pacers might make the playoffs theyll be 8th seed and have the honour of being swept by Detroit). Whos winning?

yeah I know. Its funny how not even three years ago Pacers were 61-21, top record in the league. Three years later they suck. I could see the Heat pulling it out but only if Dwayne Wade comes back completely. I mean he is the type of player that takes a lot of contact during the game and his shoulder might not hold up. this may be ur guys last year for awhile, all your players are getting old .

^ dam dude i was so optomistic for this year, but first we get Shaq gone for half a year and when he comes back our 2006 mvp gets injured . at least the rest of the team has stepped up, people like Zo ( my fav ) and Payton. Im surprised theyre coming up in their division without Wade....I think it all comes down to when they face their eastern nemesis the Pistons...man i sure do hope Dallas gets stopped before the finals...

all your players are getting old
old? well maybe Payton and Zo, but Wade is only like 24 i can see him becoming better than Lebron James soon.... I dont see Shaq going anywhere anytime soon either

I wonder how many other NBA fans there are in these forums.....

Bulls aren't good enough to win it, haven't been consistent through out the season I'm afraid.

Well Im pulling for them or the cavs, just for the simple fact Im right in between Cleveland and Chicago. Plus it would be nice to see LeBron hoist the trophy or Chicago win a champ (After my colts embaresed them Bears Im sure chicago fans need something good) without Jordan.

I think the Mavericks have what it takes to finally win the playoffs this year. And if they don't, I'll be sorely disappointed.

It's starting to shape up. How about those Warriors? lol I can't remember the last time they were going to be in the playoffs. The Magic beat out the Pacers it seems for the final spot, the Pacers suck . It's funny how we were tied with the Spurs for consecutive playoff appearances and they won three championships and we didnt win at all with one finals appearance .

So uhhh any predictions before they start up? After looking at the brackets I think it will be Detroit and San Antonio again. The Bulls really screwed themselves over with that loss to the Nets, and may be out first round now. I think the Cavs will get to the ECF, they get a free pass with Washington, and I do not see either Toronto or New Jersey beating them. The Spurs will have to go through the Suns and the Mavs to get to the finals, so I think the Pistons will take the cake because they will have more rest.

The warriors only won because the Mavs took their bigs out of the game. Dirk usually has problems with smaller, quick defenders and Donnie boy knows that more than anyone. I think the Mavs will come back out and win four in a row however.
