    Nice examples.

Should we research into the nature of horses in this period? Whose were heavier, lighter, the general qualities and virtues of specific breeds?

Very nice. It would be nice if we could have unique horses. But that all up to the skinners and modellers.

We cant edit horse/elephant .mesh files at the present time.

Most of what we want can be done with textures. I will be posting screenshots of new Abbasid horse textures this evening.

    Cheers

AlphaDelta, once Grumpyoldman's new mesh editor is updated to allow for animals, do you know if you can edit the .mesh files for camels as well? If so, the Mongols used double humped camels from the Gobi desert as well as horses, and I think that such units would make for interesting visual differences, plus having a chance at scaring horse units.

Great idea CelticPagan, I'd love to see some Bactrian Camels for the Mongol faction in the future.

Bactrian camel is a species of camel. It has 2 humps as opposed to the dromedary (spelt wrong...) with one hump.

Quite right . Thanks to all who remembered what they were called, as I totally blanked on their name when I posted

@John I Tzimisces: I find ieSpell (I got it from www.download.com) helps check my spelling. Otherwise I'd look as, well, as poor as I actually am . That's also the reason I married an English Major
