Upgrading lvl 1 to lvl 2 church really has no benefit, while upgrading lvl 4 to lvl 5 has a huge benefit. Never understood why the progression is: 1) 5 Happiness 2) 5 Happy 3) 10 Happy 4) 10 Happy, 5 Health 5) 15 Happy, 15 Health. Would make a lot more sense with a bit more health for lvl 2, 3, 4, resulting progression: 1) 5 Happy 2) 5 Happy, 5 Health 3) 10 Happy, 5 Health 4) 10 Happy, 10 Health 5) 15 Happy, 15 Health.

For Castles, there's currently no reason to ever upgrade lvl 1 to lvl 2 church. Player's aren't likely to ever be recruiting priests from castles rather than cities, so the priest lvl 1 for lvl 2 castle church is meaningless. Suggest adding +5 Health to the lvl 2 church in castles. Would be worth buying both the small chapel and chapel just to get the +pop growth provided by this +Health, since its so hard to get pop growth in castles.

Feedback: Level 3, and higher, city churches increase priest agent limit to 2 for that city if you have a lvl 3,4 or 5 church, but there's no feedback at all for this in-game. Can you add it to the building's description? Might also mention in cathedral/huge cathedral building desc that priests built there are born as bishops.
