Negotiations Begin with the two Iberian kindoms, just north of our glorious capital, Cordoba. The kings were elated to receive our gifts, information of all our lands, and an agreement to slaughter all free men, who call to no rightfull banner, so was the fate of the people of Valencia. For they fell under galib's boot.

But, the Moorish royalty, was far more concerned, with the slaughter of the rulers of northern iberia, than disilusioned, farmers with an authority complex.

So then, was put forth the plan to conquer all of iberia, before the year 1110.

The invasion

The spanish had near A thousand men, placed along the border, north of our lands, with Vaasco leading the army. This force, along with another similar army, north of toledo, were the first stepping stones that would lead to our conquest.

Galib Of Calatayud, was put in command of two cavarly companys from granada, upon gazing at the enemy force, galib was forced to hire mercenaries. these crossbowmen would able him to possibably break through into the toldeo reigon, and allow safe passage of a Cordoba Battalion, which will be the main force for both battles of toledo and leon.







Our missle cavarly do battle, and the enemy cavarly charge my unseen crossbowmen.




My crossbow's do their work, as galib goes for vaasco's throat, but in doing so, he has showed his true colors and ran off, leaving the mercenaries to finish his work.




The faithfull mercenaries, Kill off vaasco and pelt his troops into a route. Galib falls back and joins his Brother in blood, for the siege of toledo.

Survivors of toledo are Dealt with quickly. After a short regrouping, galib will be ready for the next assault. Leon.

Altogether, 881 men remain to defend leon, with spains 3rd army gone missing in the mountains east of toledo, Galib luckily finds spain's heir outside leon with a company or two of men. Galib knows that he can kill two snakes in this final battle for this half of the beautiful spanish peninsula.

As Ayub and Galib conquered the spanish, Faraj, born commander, raised and now leads a battalion to lisbon. As faraj was moving his men he spotted spains missing 3rd army, just north of cordoba. Now men with no home or tomorrow march on our city.



Faraj's milita crossbowmen, and hierd turks will be the key to winning this battle, for the enemy has the reach of only their swords and spears.

The final charge by the spanish rebels leaves them open for many bolts to find their way into the flesh of these wild men. With the command given, Faraj's men charge at the infidels, slicing, and hacking their way until the rebels turn tail and run.

Faraj sends a company of men to take lisbon, while himself deals with portugals large army, south of their city.



The balistas break down the gate, and the turks mercs are the first to go in. And lead their king around for a tour of the city. With the king distracted, the infantry move in.

The fates of everyone in this town look grim.


As our cavarly breaks the town milita, the same is about to happen to our own. For the king was close ere, but now is within blade reach.



These brave 10 men fight untill death, or capture.



Grim news indeed. For this, lisbon, was taken by faraj and and the fates of a few thousand were sealed. Next would be the new king along with those who follow him.

For three years, King affonso has sat at the edge of his realm, facing the sea. Now faraj will take his reenfoced battalion and strike at portugals last great army.

The last Bolt fired from a portugese balista finds its way into three of Galib's personal guards. He mourns them in scilence as he hacks away the routing men.





By 1109, the two remaining provinces are held by rebels of the war. Galib sends Ayyub to take Pamplona, along with zargoza.Also to secure a border to keep the french away from muhammad's jewel, which he has willed us to fight and die for.

In North Africa, The Sultan makes plans for the discovery and conquest of all lands south, east and west of algiers.

But, looks great. I'm playing 0.50 years per turn and I've conquered every single African, Iberian, and French settlement. Currently knocking on the gates of the HRE.

THE CRUSADE FOR TUNIS

Instead of covering the long, and somewhat boring takeover of north africa, and the itallian islands west of rome, ill go right to the good stuff. After a failed jihad on rome, the pope called for tunis to be cleansed of the unholy filth which inhabbits it.

Just as the crusade was called, The might of the moorish navy and one regiment, that was near full strengh, was on its way to the english isles to find glory and battle. Instead their target was now france. Their mission was to cause as much havok along the french coast as possible. Our remaining navy is dedicated to destroying any naval invasions of tunis, mainly by sicily and england

Well, all of europe joined on including the powerhouse combo of allied france and the HRE. Shortly after the crusade was called, the germans called for a ceasefire, along with milan. The french however sent two full armys for tunis.

This was the second, the first is near tunis, with two full battalions of moorish troops ready to fight and die. As you can see on the map, the england bound regiment is allready progressing in its french campaign.

The mighty moorish milita swordsmen, hardy and versitile, along with dismounted cavarly hold the line, while the cavarly does it job.

Everyone hates raymond, to the point of homicide.



Our hero of the spanish war, Galib, dies today. After the war he spent many hours building pamplona, zargoza and was brought in to cordoba to help build the Great walls which now protect the city from attack. Aside from killing infidels, engineering was his passion.



After sacking and looting rennes, and angers, then demolishing them. The sultan sold them both to the HRE for a healthy profit. The sultan has an odd respect for these infidels and hopes after france is gone the HRE will become allies. Wishfull thinking.




The Fool Raymond, comes BACK into iberia, under the banner of the cross, with only a handfull of protection. he is dealt with, and ransomed, He probably wasn't like by the french royalty, for they couldn't spare A thousand florins for his head.

I believe he changed it. If you click on a settlement, on the screen, which has the recruitment and construction lists, just click the name of the settlement at the top. You can rename it to anything you want.
