    Default Campaign Map Borders

I am having a small problem with the Borders. It is just me, and its all in my mind.

The problem is the borders. It looks terrible on the campaign map with little different colored lines separating the House territories.

Will your next updates take out the border lines on the mini map?

    thanks and great job!

Borders in minimaps are pretty hardcoded unless I give a single colour to each faction. Anyway borders in minimaps in my list of priorities of things to be looked upon hardly reach the 3457th place.

I myself could not stand the vanilla borders.

While I did not want a thick white line distinguishing the borders, I felt that a mass of one color did not look very impressive, and instead chose to make the 'dividing' lines a lighter shade of the faction's primary color.

Here are my settings, if anyone would like to use them:

(I'll post a screenshot once I return from class)

    EDIT: Behold!

    I like that. Thanks Pnutmaster!

But what I want to do is make the borders the same color so that it looks what i want it to look like.

Could you tell me how you changed the colors?

    Thanks!

find the file descr_sm_factions.txt, open it up, and you should notice two lines called primary_colour and secondary_colour. Simply change the numbers in the secondary _colour line to those in the primary_colour line.

But be careful, by doing that there could be some clashes, eg both the HRE and Timurids primary colour is blackand with no dividing minimap lines it could get confusing...

Thanks! I usually destroy them way before the Timurids. I create a coalition against them, with Romes approval and attack them from all sides.
