    Default Some useful info for you DARTH

    I just remembered that the wierd numbers at the end of each battle_model.modeldb entry were explained ages ago, and do not do what you think:

    http://forums.totalwar.org/vb/showthread.php?t=70883
    Code:
    	<Torch>
    		<Bone>bone_lhand</Bone>
    		<OffsetX>-0.09</OffsetX>
    		<OffsetY>0.0</OffsetY>
    		<OffsetZ>0.0</OffsetZ>
    		<WorldOffsetX>-0.35</WorldOffsetX>
    		<WorldOffsetY>0.8</WorldOffsetY>
    		<WorldOffsetZ>0.6</WorldOffsetZ>
    	</Torch>
    Code:
    16 -0.090000004 0 0 -0.34999999 0.80000001 0.60000002
    It's the code to show where the torch goes, nothing more, nothing less.

    Omg its painful (so much work :/) but it makes sence! I also noticed that torches are often flying which looks especially weird during the fierce fight.. Theyre everywhere lol.

    So it means that shield bug is not solved? Bah.. It seemed so nice!

    Thanks! Very useful.
    Still there is more to it as the offsets take control of the non-visual skeleton as I have suspected.

    My tests cannot do wrong since alterations DID change A LOT the gameplay without any other change in EDU or other file.

    It also changes the torch offset obviously.

    As I have explained the inner mechanics in this are mostly unknown to me and as it seems to CA...as well.

    Test yourself with the file and not with the file to see the improvement.

    I will not do this again since I do not play M2TW any more and maybe I will if the patch comes out and my hand goes better.

    Trust me.
