    Default shield textures

hello my dear modmembers! i have neither the time or the skill to skin (actually i havent got a clue about skinning) but i made this shield while i was playing with the photoshop.

now im interested can be used as a shield (danish, round) texture "as it is".
i have no idea will it fit to the existing shield model. so can someone of the skinners in the mod put it ingame so i can see how it will look? if not i need advice what to change.

maybe we can have a deal- i will make jpg images and someone with more knowledge can make a real texture out of them. i can make a lot better shields than this one here. and i have some questions about photoshop so i hope you have time to help me.

tnick can you be more specific?
these shields were made for cro faction and first colour for cro is red. and in the one painting from aralica's book, calvaryman has red shield (check cro faction thread). there are no primary sources that indicate what colour were cro shields at that period (there are sources for the shape of shield -round, oval and kite shaped).

and since you are mod leader you can find a skinner that will make texture out of them.

and alphabet used is early variant of glagolic- called "round glagolic" (obla glagoljica). this alphabet was invented by cyrill (before cyrillic), and was used in cro for writing on slavic/croatian language while latinic alphabet was used for writing on latin language. but in cro a special version of cyrilic was allso used - so as you can se it is extremley complex. in late medieval people used 3 languages (cro, old slavic, and latin) and 3 alphabets.

and more are on the way (with the falcon from the relief in the church of Sv.Lovro in Zadar).
