The same title was used with the turning to face from the highest aristocracy. 2) after the christianization of Armenia, this title began to be used also by the highest clergy of Armenian church. In contrast to the initial designation of aristocrat, the title rubbed in the church use it began to be added to the surnames of clergymen, for example it Ter-Sargissian, Ter -Gevorkyan. Tohm - (tokhm) clan, dinasty in Armenia. By this concept was initially implied entire clan, in the broadest sense of the word, because all blood relatives along the man line with its wives, and by unmarried sisters and daughters. Subsequently hearth Tohms were implied all carriers of surname, connected with blood relationship. Required composite of Tohmahavak was the prolonged celebratory meal, in which participated all the members of the whole clan- (elder, man, woman and children), the visit of the graves of ancestors and the rites of offering -matakh, baptism and so on. The resolution of the most important questions of clan were received by the predominantly adult men (usually, by the liders/rulers of families). Most frequently Tohmhavak(s) were conducted in the native places, nearer to the graves of ancestors, in the house of any elder or separately respected member of clan. It was accepted to carry out Tohmahavak during any traditional holiday; for example in the province of Tavush or in Artsakh some families carry out their ancestral meetings during the heathen holiday of water - Vardavar (Vardevor). There is no confirmation of the fact that Tohmahavaki were once conducted everywhere on entire Armenia and by all families. However, the tradition of Tohmahavak(s) exists in some Armenian families (with some changes) up to our days.

    2) Which Mod started from 888 AD with Bagratuni Armenia in it???

    1. Jepp Ani will be in

    2. I think the Sicilian Vespers mod will include Bagratuni Armenia in the Dark Age Expansion

    - The SV mod project contains 4 planned mods on M2TW: Late, High, Early Era and Dark Age.

And Armenia will be in all of them (There is a link in my sig to SV)

    For you Ermeni

The first pic is taken from original wall of Ani city, unfortunately the Cross is taken away after "turkish renovation".

    1) This is what is left after "turkish renovation", without Cross in the middle which is erased by turks.

    2) With Cross, that's how it looked like:

P.S. I have alot more, like Bagratuni's symbols on the churches and on the walls of Ani etc etc. Some pics I'll post in CV soon, so you can find out more about Bagratuni there. Just let me know if you can find threads or Mods were we can open Great Armenia during Bagratuni thread, that I post all the stuff about Bagratuni in the right thread.

Its not a river. If you ever sieges fortresses in vanilla you might have noticed some had a section of the walls bounded by a pond/moat thing. Thats what that is.

Yes, I think it has something to do with the tile the castle is on, so if you put it on a badland/desert tile, it won't have the pond around it... I'm not entirely sure, I haven't tested all possibilities, but you might try if to many armenians notice and complain!
