    Default wasted unit slots

    I don't no if there is a limit on the amount of different units that can be made but if there is I have an idea that might help with the problem.

    I'm willing to bet that I'm not the only one to have noticed that there are a lot of units in this game that are almost exactly the same that it doesn't make since to have them both. Example the Byzantine dismounted lancer and the Byzantine swordmen infantry or spear militia/ town militia and numerous other units.

    So I was thinking to free up some slots for different units the simple solution is just to eleminate the duplicate units. What do you think?

    Those guys aren't duplicates.

    For example, Spear Militia has a higher attack bonus against cavalry than town militia.

    And there is no limit i guess, i added about 40 units without problems. Maybe if there is a *.mesh Plugin someone (like burrek etc.) made new models for these units and we can replace the same looking units.

    The Byzantium Infantry and the Dismounted Lancers are different, and Lancers ARE better. Lancers get more armor upgrades.

    I heard there is a limit of 44 I think. It was something like that. 44 unit slots per faction.

    I have over 60 units in custom battle by aztecs (adding all my mercs to them), so i dont think there is a limit.
