    Default Question about Government buildings

How is it determined where factions can build Government I's, and what would you have to change/edit to be able to buld Gov1's outside your homeland?

    Thanks

Governments are placed based on the government resource (homeland, subjugation, alliances), these are placed by the script depending on what faction you start as.

To change where you can built type1 governments, you would have to alter the script or the requirements for the government buildings in the EDB.

So in the EDB, in the Government building tree I changed the requirements for all the types of Government buildings to just "and building_present hinterland_precursor " I could build Government 1's anywhere?

One other question. I've combed through the EDB and I can't find the tree for the Auxilia barracks. For instance, as Rome I just conquered Taras and can build greek levy hoplites & greek skirmishers, yet I can't find in the EDB where I'm able to recruit them.

    Thanks

I've never tried to adjust the government buildings, but essentially just make the type1 requirements similar to the requirements of the type you want them to be similar to.

    Roman Camilian Barracks are A1
    Roman Polybian Barracks are A2
    Roman Marian Barracks are B1
    Roman Augustan Barracks are B2
    Roman regional Barracks are Z1
