    ok, i tried AGAIN!!!This time i don't even get an error message, it just closes. I see the starting screen, but when the video is supposed to come it closes. This is for RTW 1.5 right?
    Rome: Total War 2 Then make nr. 3 And continue until it's perfect Rome: Total War 1000

    The instructions are for vanilla RTW 1.5. I just tried them out again and it worked fine for me.

    If you can E-mail me a screen shot of your Data\scripts\show_me folder and copies of the text files you changed, then I can probably find the problem for you.

    OK, I got your e-mail. Everything looks OK. Can you e-mail the actual text files to me? The only thing I can think of is that they might have been saved in the wrong format.

    I think I've found the problem. Some of the advice threads have very similar names.

    You replaced this one:

    UI_Panel_Diplomacy_Early_Advice_Thread

    Instead of this one:

    Help_UI_Panel_Diplomacy_Early_Advice_Thread

    I can't get this to work in Lusted's TE mod..aghhh I followed the directions,get line errors lol.

    Kylan271: The advice thread used in the instructions has probably been removed from TE. You need to add it in, and make sure you make your changes in the TE folder, not in the main data folder.

    I dont knowabout th guy over me, but now i need more help... I know how to do it in vanilla thanks to your superb help, but now i discovered the awesomness of DarthMod ( XGM is cool 2=) ) however that asks me to edit the spreadsheet insteadof the files directly...thats where u come in ( i hope) what is this spreadsheet...

    Ignore that, just edit the files by hand (but make back-ups first!).

    Expand your borders, a mod based on XGM 5.

    How do i do this with a mod that uses a spreadsheat? i want to do this with chivalry total war, here are the export_descr_advice file for that mod...

    Don't worry about the spreadsheet part, that is a comment left over from vanilla when CA was making RTW. I don't think any mod uses a spreadsheet to modify files.

    Expand your borders, a mod based on XGM 5.

    So how do i edit the file? the stuff i posted are all that is in the file. Also this mod uses no scripts at all...

    Its already in XGM. No option needed.

    Just click the "?" icon in the top right of the diplomacy scroll to activate, then click the show me how button on the advisor when it appears, and voila, AI accepts all offers (but not all gifts, I don't think).
