    Default RTJ 2.2 or future w/ big map??

    is there going to be a version w/ the big map? also is the 1260 crash going 2 be fix? i want to move on

    Not that i am aware of. That map is reported to have too many problems with the AI, RTJ will be using the map made by valor. And no the 1260 bug will remain just for kicks. Of course i was being sarcastic, of course it will be fixed, but probably the team will wait until the new patch comes out.

    What do you mean by move on anyway? the last release was not long ago, and no one has stopped testing or attempting to fix the error. We all want things fixed, but patience is a virtue.

    I have been playin RTJ 2.2 since it was released and i have to say what a superb mod the best ive played so far, i played an extremely slow campaign forgetting about the 1260 bug problem and now the year is 1255 lol hmmm decisions............

    by they way, do you know which blood mod RTJ uses?

    Either Horsearcher's or someone else's, i believe it was thought that HA's mod was a little over the top.

    have you gotten the mongol invasion??

    its hard to playtest a 180 turn game so any information you can give would be very helpful. Can you copy the save game, and then see when the crash happens. Go back with the saved game and toggle_fow and see what technology the comp factions are at. Maybe there is underlying codes for ai to start building certain units

    Does the crash have to do with early bodygaurds switching to late bodygaurds???? The symbol should change on the campaign map (there different units and symbol in custom is why i say) and maybe that is why there is a definate crash time. The generals have always been bugged, not turning into late generals.

    This led me to look into eras. They are located on export_descr_unit where there are three eras for units: era 0 era 1 era 2 --late bodyguard come at era 2, and era 0 is start. So era 1 may be the problem and thus maybe a unit. These are first units avaliable at era 1 according to export_descr_unit. So the faction that it crashes on would help to tell what unit could be to blame.

    So spartiate could you give post your savegame on filefront so some of us can test the crash??

    dont think era is the problem


    building late general bodygaurd works fine, has to be something else

    sorry i wont be able to send the saved game i abandoned the campain to go back to rome total war with the SPQR 6.2 mod until the new official patch is released, sorry i cant be of no help.

    I really hope the mod uses a larger map in the future, not just more province, but a larger map. I'll enjoy the mod much more. I'm playing the long road right now, and the only reason i haven't switched over to this mod is because of the smaller map.
