    Default 2 handed phalanx

    after an hard afternoon work on 3dmax (6 hours at least) i have created the 2 handed phalanx animation!!!!! it's still primitive, shields need to be put well etc but i think i could make it! i try it and it works on game without CTD

    i m have to realize yet the pose they hold spear in vertical with 2 hands. i m still a rookie on these things. i will work only in phalanx animations tryin to create them brand new. for the other soldiers like romans we have the permission to use signifer one animations

    yes!

    i m founding a problem. i moved the shield on the right position, i export the animation overwriiting the old one but in game the shield position rest like in the picture. anyone can help me?

    the shield is attached to the arm...the animations don't move the polygons...they move the bones

    -> edit the shields in the models...not in the animation

    looks like the shield is just a bit too big...

    if i choose the macedonian royal guard who have smaller shield it's gonna do the same thing! shield covering the full face

    open it again and see if the shield is still in the right position.
    I had that problem sometimes...it just swithched back the instant I deselected the shield again...

    i have reloaded that animation and it's still in the right position on 3dmax! i dunno y rtw move it wrong

    hmm...sry...I sure could be more useful if I had 3dsmax here right now (the trial doesn't work anymore and I don't want an illegal copy of it)
