Fatal graphics error and a few other problems

Unmodded Med2 works fine, however when I try to start a campaign with graphics set to below what was recommended It says "fatal graphics error because of settings too high. I changed my resolution from 1600x1200 to 1200x1024 and a "unexpected error" occurs. Also at the menu in the mod I get no sound at all. I'm about to reinstall the mod and hope it works.

edit: I solved it because I am an idiot and didn't install 2.0 correctly. Thanks again.

same thing happened to me, your right, but except the graphic error, all you need to do is install all versions, 2.0, 2.1, and 2.2, but the real problem is NO SOUND whatsoever if the author likes without sound, the thing is tho, there are a lot of ppl out there who loves the sound, ya know? its like completely muted, T_T

What do you mean with no sound?
I hear all sounds which should be there...
Can you tell me if you play the English version or a localized version?
That would be very helpful for me!

I have english version, the thing is you know like, when you click your guys, no sound whatsoever and in diplomacy when the deal is done nothing happens

btw, next mod, can i give a suggestion ^_^,

, i think it would be nice if through diplomacy with land or loads of money could buy certain kind of unit from another country,

, what do you think? Other than the country unique unit of course which aren't for sale

Actually a veeery interesting suggestion I'd say!! Really brings a kind of real 'mercenary' feeling!! Brilliant mate!! Of course the units would have to be rather expensive, but mate what an awesome addition and expansion the the actual game!

Have a problem. Fighting in Jerusalem/Acre regions as Sicily, and I keep getting CTDs everytime I try and fight a battle, have to autoresolve it

Anything can be done?

Sounds exactly like the problem I had fighting in Cairo! The problem is the game crashes everytime crusader units are involved.

simply go to this site, download the fix for the CTD and it'll be fine

Can someone repost the link? TWC has it as an invalid page. Thanks ahead of time. I'm playing Stainless Steel Crusader States VH/H for my second campaign and I get the fatal graphics error in the starting area.

P.S. I can't believe this game is this entertaining!

Are you fighting a battle which involves reinforcing armies?

Yes, the AI had an reinforcement army that my archers mowed down

The game crashed while I was death sentencing last enemy unit with canons of sepulcher in the middle of the city!

sometimes there is a problem with reinforcements where the game will crash.

could be your graphics are set too high.

It might be because of the reinforcements, but ussualy then the game crashes right away as they enter the battlefield. Anyhow, install the laterst G5 RBAI from here along with the settlement tweaks, it not only further improves the battle AI, it also fixes the crashes while in the battles.
