Alliances in RtJ 2.1
No one is making alliances in my game. Is this correct, or did I something wrong?

In all my tests as England, France and the Scots came forth with alliances very quickly. Also some factions have allied, fewer have gone to war though.

Also don't alliance with the Papal State. It tend to cause a bit of problem. Its already suggested by the maker of Ultimate A.I. He was thinking of disabling it, I believe.
Lol it wasn't until a few days ago, I was so down due to the fact that my game play is sorta restricted by alliance. Before I've allied with every single faction lol, why not? But I see the large different now.
BTW: Anybody else see dismount hoispllier knight and Templar in campaign?

Why should we not ally with the Papal States? I always used to ally with them to keep relations strong.

Re: Alliances in RtJ 2.1
Same here, GrandViz noted it in this read me for U.AI 1.3
"- Papal States will behave reasonable (for best results do not ally the Papal States)"
I believe its because Papal are very powerful influence in the game. In 2.1 I was at war with Italy fighting over an Island. I gave it to the papal state knowing that they will accept it and Italy wouldn't dare attack them. They didn't for a little while. When when they did, full blown European war and the pope was sooo unforgivable. Crusade, and the all the Christian factor was all over Italy. I did the same when in Jerusalem. lol.
I once gave them all my land surrounding Jerusalem as a shield since they built a Strong Defensive army then the other factor.
I could be wrong. I'm just gonna have as much fun as I can on 2.21. Let me know whats up.
Just notice while I was playing Sicily. I'm allied with Venice already? O_o also they are allow military access

Re: Alliances in RtJ 2.1
well since AI doesnt make allies so much I gave them some at the start, specially for small faction. (unfortunatly AI never asks for military access)
