Thread: Questions on Global Reputation

    Default Questions on Global Reputation

    1. The longer you are at war, the lower it will go?
    2. Even if you did not start the wars?
    3. Even if the opponents will not end the wars?
    4. Does this include crusades and jihads?
    5. Does it decrease per turn at war, or per turn at war and per country at war with?

If it does include crusades and jihads then:
    1. Being the target of such, especially a crusade, would be very punishing for your reputation as by their very nature they are long, the countries involved are unable to make peace until the crusade is over, and the Catholic factions tend to pile on a crusade regardless of any practicalities.
    2. On top of all this, it is a global reputation, so while defending the Holy Land from the crusading infidels, my reputation is also decreasing with my Muslim brothers?

You lose reputation every turn while you're at war but in a VERY different amount if you're fighting "infidels" or factions of your same religion.

It's a sort of your nobles and people being tired of wars and so they're also very much prone to rebellion. Make love not war!

Perhaps you kill your prisoners and exterminate/sack settlements.
