How come I can't change Faction Heir?

In the family tree it doesn't give me the option (2.0 Lite). Is there another way to do it or is this a bug?

Sounds like a bug with dearmad's mod, plz get the latest version of RTJ, perhaps that will solve the problem, if not post this under his thread.

Ah yes, probably to reflect that the oldest son would be the faction heir, you could not say "i want the last born to take over when i die" in those days i suppose.

It just seams silly as they offen arnt realate at all.
And most of the time, it is the less smart generel who becomes hire.

Even in vanilla, I remember not being able to change faction heir. Is this hard-coded, or can the option be added?

dont think its hardcoded, I can also make all your tross ancillaries transferable form one too an other. so maybe I could change herier as well, but Im not an expert on this will have to ask some expirenced ancillaries modder

I am quite sure you CANT change heir, not even in vanilla. They have had this discussion a millions times, and it was a huge subject in Dearmad's mod. But there is no way to change that. They found a way, but it was unstable and failed more then it worked. So pray CA will make this avalible in patch 1.2
