My current Polish Kingdom. I started in 1124 as the King (can't remember name). I expanded east and after my current Kings death i will get the Duchy of Kiew because the hire is the Duke of Kiew.
Spoiler Alert, click show to read:
This is my Holy roman Empire, started as salian emperor and kept adding titles an mass
my current Kaiser, Norbert Sallian "the Fowler":
Kaiser Norbert II Salian
My heir King Gebhart I is king of Naples, Sicily and some other places. i made a habit of giving the heir apparent the titles in Italy.
Composite image of my empire:
Das Heiliges Römisches Reich
at this point it is 1236 and i have declared holy war against the newly arrived Golden Horde, which took over the Kingdom of Rus. i declared war for Perm, which must have seemed like a good idea at the time but now i do not remember why...
as a preparation for this war i married a courtier to the Mongol Kaghan, she was an elsuive shadow and helped greatly in my later plot to kill said Kaghan. as a "thank" for this i invited her back to court and had her married to a nice Duke, even though that has no impact on the campaign.
by the timely death of the initial kaghan of Golden Horde several vassals started a massive revolt, as most of the Orthodox Rus characters has kept theire landed titles. Kaiser Norbert decided it was a good opportunity to declare his holy war for perm.
this is the situation 2 october 1236. Sieges is going well and i try to leave rebeling Horde vassals armies intact, i want them to succede. i know there is at least one massive stack in the FOW just east of Moskva.:
at war...
a couple decisive victories, just in time to face the stack comming in from north-east.:
attack...
supposedly i have shown great heroism, and all i got was a measly 50 prestiege points...:
victory
also my good friend Prohor I of Croatia is comming to aid in my rightous war and good is that, because i am just about to loose 10k+ in a surprise attack.
but now also reinforcements has disembarked down by Crimea. i realize now that Kaiser Norbert realizes might actually win this stupid war for Perm.:
attack, attack, curses...
a couple more glorious victories:
c`mon you pantsy...!
and ta-da:
Victorious after all...
so now our war has ended and the Khagan can turn all his resources towards squashing his rebelious vassals, that will not do. as said, i want them to succede. realizing that the great Khagan has a child as his heir Kaiser Norbert decides it is time for Khagan Husun to leave this world. again a bunch of disgruntled Rus nobles willingly advance my scheme.:
the plot...
now it would seem that the new Khagan has a Rus noble as his heir and the temptation is simply to great.:
the plot thickens...
so now the Golden Horde is ruled by an Orthodox Rus and mainly populated by Rus nobles, by cloack and daggery i basically re-created the kingdom of Rus with a new fancy title added.
what happens next i do not know, but certainly this must have put an end to the Horde`s advance towards the Atlantic...?!

How do you handle the death of your rulers?
BLM - ANTIFA - A.C.A.B. - ANARCHY - ANTI-NATIONALISM
elective succession law helps way much when i have enough titles to prop up my intended heir, also money to bribe rebelious dukes. i make sure to have dukes as direct vassals, rather than a bunch of disgruntled counts.
for my intended heir i strive to educate him properly before giving any titles and also mariage to an able woman, i try to gain as much Stewardship as possible. with a large personal demesne the next character should be good suited to face any moderate rebelion, i also save him a few thousand money in inheritance to use for mercenaries and bribes.
by the time my character dies, the next heir has usually come well of age and can hold the most important secondary lands to support my new character. if my heir is underage and my character is very old i can nominate another old and prestigious dynasty member as (itermediate) ruler and use him to prepare for my intended one.
that is everything goes remotely as planed...
i have had to assasinate heirs that turned out to be imbecils, or otherwise would have had to give up too many titles, and quickly turn to another branches of the dynasty. that is the benefits of elective monarchy, you can change plans if your own son is an inbred bastard. and by electing an intermediate ruler, you get the chance to re-distribute his holdings as well and reduce risk of future rebelion...
at each ruler change i try to let one reasonably powerfull duke revolt, so that i can justly re-distribute some of his power. and i make an effort to acquire and keep most counties within a couple duchies of my primary kingdom.
i build full set of holdings in my primary counties and spend money upgrading them, give plenty benefits on taxes and levies.

I started with Byzantium which is an easy selection on this mod coz the games starts from 1356 and the balkans are like this...

coz of this begging of the compaing if you take byz and make some allies its easy to take the balkans and the asia minor.....after, if you the cities on italy like roma and venice etc. you can create the roman empire! if you create the empire, you take cores to lombardia, balkans, asia minor and south italy! after taking that cities, if you have good allies you can easy re-create the roman empire as it was!!!
My Italian empire on AHD around 1885 I believe. I've been wanting to take my cores from Austria for a while, but they have been allied with France for a long time, so i've not had a strong enough military to do it. I now have an alliance with the NGF though, so i'm thinking if I can get them to join me in a war I might be able to grab the rest of Italy. Its also one of the rare games i've played where the Netherlands and Portugal have actually done anything.

Flashback to an older game time Here is my game as Iron Guard Romania for the Kaiserreich Mod on HOI II Arma. I did have to switch nations eventually in the late 40's and end wars that would have been eternal since there were no ending events for them. That and I released nations and sorted out Provence control issues to make the map look less messy.

Iron Guard: I somehow managed to grow a little and survive without attracting the attention of the major powers (I think it was because they were busy getting owned). I allied with Greece and Serbia and we all defeated Bulgaria as the event chain went. Then I launched war on the Ottomans, defeated them, built up the middle east's infrastructure and industry a little bit and released a slew of puppet nations. It didn't turn out as well as I planned though since all but Iraq have dead economies that I have to constantly aid to keep running. If I continue this game I might attempt to take on Egypt.
The world: It is 1949, WW2 has been over since mid 48' the Syndies were victorious with all of Europe (except Switzerland), Russia, Africa, upper North America (Canada), Central and South America under Syndie or far-leftist governments. The U.S. is no more but is instead a three way alliance with Hawaii, American Union State, and the PSA. Delhi is still democratic, Australia is a right wing dictatorship. China reunified as an authoritarian republic and with Russia's help beat an ambitious Japan out of Asia proper. Russia then fell to socialists in an election in 45 I think?
All in all the majority of the world is a left or right wing dictatorship with maybe a handful of democratic governments holding out on their own. Since I'm one of those few right wing dictatorships It makes trade crappy for me when only at best, 10 to 15 nations in the whole world will to trade with you.

The glorious domain of the Sultans of Swing, I had some trouble in the beginning with those damn almoravids since they kept expanding like crazy and almost conquered Aquataine from France, luckily their ruler died right when they were about to succed with it and rebellions popped up everywhere which allowed me to take Granada from the bastards. However those damn Frenchies recovered quickly and conquered some Muslim land, however they had a massive rebellions when a new ruler came to power and I thinking that I could capitalize on it tried to liberate Tunisia for but as soon as I attacked the French united and proceeded to send megastack after megastack until I was forced to sue for white peace.
Started a campaign as the Ottomans and finally played long enough to see a Great War on AHD even if it was somewhat one sided. Germany started with Italy on their side, but they were quickly knocked out of the war and Germany followed shortly after. Most of the great powers demanded parts of Germany and Russia also got some German land in a seperate war which had been going on at the same time.

THis is what a communist Germany looks like in 1900 - still facing several wars and with several German minors becoming independent again - one of them is even at war with Germany demanding another province. Russia and Austria are also both insanely powerful in Europe now that Germany essentially no longer exists.

And this is the state of my own empire in Africa, Asia and Europe. I imagine I would probably lose a war against one of the bigger great powers since they have hundreds of brigades whilst the most i can support is one hundred and something.

With Hungary and Russia as long standing allies and Castille out of the picture im basicly unstoppable. France is a pain tho, have to raise my treasury income to field a larger army against them. That accumulates infaltion wihch atm is very low and I like to keep it like that. But its worked so far.
Swedish empire (now scandinavia)

I can beat Lithuania and get back my old cores (the sea surrounding Sweden, which I once owned but Lithuania stole them, I will steal them back.) now and will do so soon. I have started conquering Japan and ming has fallen apart since I colonized them. Free provinces for me basically. Biggest rival is Spain, bordering them in america, but most of my soldiers are in asia and are needed there. And I cant bring soldiers from Sweden because all my ships are in asia. So I need to keep Spain happy and avoid warfare as best as I can. For now...
