Cool names and badges??.

A number of moderators have expressed the wish to rid ourselves of the last visible vestige of the past administrations folly. ie dehumanising us with the name 'Moderators' rather than allowing us to keep in tune with the rest of the forums.

Some, (mostly me), have also pointed out the current badges for moderators (and Artifex) are not unique TWC designs, (as pretty much any skinner who's trawled the net for shield designs could tell you).

Sim has also pointed out that we did pass the medieval naming thingamajig here
Medieval Latin, reflecting generic medieval feudal ranks.

And the extent of said naming here.

Change the names of everything (ranks, positions, forums, etc.) given a proper name in the Syntagma or laws.

So in conclusion, We should have changed the names of everything by now anyway (though obvious issues have delayed things so no one's at fault),

also do we want new badges to finally wave good bye to the boogy men of the past?? as we're changing names anyway.

Personally I like the badges the way they are.

I would advice to use old badge designs, and place badges under the avatar, this would make it possible for us to use other skins then current one functionally.
