Well, heres my idea. Its just a rough one so far, what you reckon:
Taken the M2:TW background and messed around. The font format isnt perfect yet, but as i say, im really keen to hear what you guys have to say.

Yes, keep working with that
No, look for something else

Well i dont think you should write up an AAR like that but, it would be an excellent way of reporting and updating events in your campaign to we your audiance, though perosnally I think it makes a fine intro, perhaps throw in some fantastic pixs from a few custom battles between the various factions like portugal, france, spain and milan and I'd say you would be off to good start.

I completely agree with Hex on that. Use that for a nice intro, with some pics.... but thats it. Or , actually, use it to start off each update you do. for example, a letter from the King, reporting his intentions, or his memories, and have another person the finish off the story, like a personal squire, or somethin of that nature. But please do not use that style for the whole AAR. Would get annoying to read. Trust me, I read them everyday at work when I have nothing to do. = ) lol
Anyways, just a few ideas there, thats all.
Good luck with your AAR. (try it as the Poles, or the Hungarians (magyars), they're fun. and different. or even get the teutonic order faction in, and use that. anyways, good luck.)

That doesn't take that much text.. And not very easy on the eyes But I think you can work something up of it, as said above.
Muahah, you just wasted 3 seconds of your life!
You need to add periods and commas.

Really...hard to read it...
But it's a good idea and it looks very nice.
But just not practical...
it's hard to read, but looks pretty
