Optional RTJ?
I'm wondering if we can customize our game when installing. If we want real blood, super blood, or real building or low res building etc... There's been a few suggestion of other mod to implanted so I'll list a few more. I just think It's great if player has a choice.

Re: Optional RTJ?
If these stay optional, then they would be a good addition. I don't care for the low texture buildings though. Good options though!

Re: Optional RTJ?
A quick question, I know this is off-topic here but its quite annoying though and I wonder if anybody knows the answer.
Every time I change my preference (video, sound, setting, all of them) it changes back to what I had it before...(it doesn't keep my setting)
The only way I can truly change my preference is if I were to go to my medieval2.preference.cfg and change it from there. And to be honest I don't know 100% what I'm changing it to.
Anybody knows if I were to change a setting in-game it would keep that setting? It happen before until I reinstall m2tw. The only time I would access medieval2.preference.cfg is to turn off the annoying unit banner and of course using
[io]
file_first = true
I also have the file to "read only" after I'm done.

Re: Optional RTJ?
lol, don't worry buddy, I'll try to help you. I got it to work though I too had trouble in the beginning.
Install Real_arrow_1.2 into ur medieval 2 folder.
Once u do that, open it copy the data and paste in your medieval 2 folder (overrite it)
Then there should be ANOTHER real_arrow folder inside it. Copy the data on that one. Do the same thing.
Then if u havent done it already. Go to your medieval2.preference.cfg
and open with notepad. Write in
"[io]
file_first = true"
Then save.
Test it out. Good luck out there buddy.

Re: Optional RTJ?
Well, having 1.1 should really help. As for the blackscreen, jeez thats really not good.
Note: I hope you have your medievalperfrence.ctf as "read only" after u edit it with the [io] read first stuff.
Does the blackscreen happen to any other game? If does not then try.
-Uninstall Medieval 2
-Check if the Sega/Medieval 2 folder still there and delete every folder.
-Reinstall, Patch,
-Then add mod
-Also make sure u have latest driver.

Re: Optional RTJ?
Actually, the latest ATI drivers push the cards more to achieve more results, this can end in overheating, which could give the black screen.

Re: Optional RTJ?
Really now? lol I haven't been an ATI user since Rome Total War. lol. The driver to me personally suck. Geforce ftw.
But that was interesting, seem ATI haven't loose their touch.

Re: Optional RTJ?
cool, lol I have about 3 or 4 mod working with RTJ w/texture that was not included.
Here's a list if you wanna try. It brings out full blast experience total war while playing.
-Low Res Building
-Retexture Blood
-Real Night (Pretty dangerous but nice ^^)
-Real_Arrow_1.2
-Xenophonia Sound mod (Each nation speak its own language. No more semi-english accent)
-Darth Warpack
-Dust Mod
-Smoke Mod
also a few mod I'm reading up to see how I'm gonna implent it with RTJ. Mostly EDU stuff. I wish horses can smash through infantry line like they would in TLR mod and the animation balance EDU.
