Default The 2K7 Six Nations thread

A tourney especially important in a world cup year.

SO who do you think will clinch it ?

    So far :
    France 39 - 3 Italy.
Italy played quite well, but were outclassed nonetheless...

    England vs Scotland atm...

*edit* wtf, I meant this thread to be a poll, but Opera freezed (opera has been acting goofy all day, I've finnally given up on it and unistalled it). And apparently it decided to post the message just before I killed it without me even clicking on a button.
Can a mod add the relevant poll ?

    Try by scotland !

    *edit* bah; Try for England
Plus Johnny is effective as usual ("usual" as in "when playing and not injured)

*edit2* Uh . That Wilkison try was HIGHLY dubious, and then some...

England to win the 6 nations this year and New Zealand for the World Cup, with Samoa or Fiji being Runners up

I think after England's performance against the jocks then we can go all the way - if we can hammer Scotland playing that badly then we are sorted.

    Tomorrow: ENgland vs Italy
    Scotland vs Wales
    on Sunday: Ireland vs France

    *edit*
    England 20-7 Italy
Italy made most of the play, but got plagued by their usual approximations. England was bland, but capitalized on the Italian errors...
    *edit2*
    Scotland 21-9 wales

France vs Wales 2K5 was one of the best games I ever saw.
Wales were awesome this year. I had hoped the Dragon had risen again for good, but unfortunately it looks it wasn't meant to last :/

    OMFG
i've turn TV 5 minutes late
JUST IN TIME TO SEE THE THIRD ITALIAN TRY!
    AZZURI!AZZURI!

    half-time edit: Scotland 10 - 24 Italy.
the Italians physically outclass the Scots: I mean, I saw an 2minutes Scottish ofense phase that saw them *losing* 30 meters. And just after an Italian maul that smashed the Sottish defense on 30 meters at a jogging pace...

Full-time Edit : Scotland 17 - 37 Italy. First ever away win in the competition, and record win for Italy afaik.
Even discounting the 3 interception tries within 7 minutes after start, Italy played better (awesome defense) and deserved the win. The Scots didn't give up, but simply made to many handling errors. Man of the match, Alessandro Troncon, well deserved. The Bergamasco brothers were also very good, as usual.

    2nd match half time edit:
Ireland is dominating England, not only score-wise (23-3) but play-wise.

    2nd match full time edit.
Oh, boy, that was a full-blown spanking.
    43-13.
one more result and it will be a perfect rugby day in my book.

    3rd match half time edit:
ouch. Bad time for France, 2 converted welsh tries in 15 minutes. But, lead by the ever brilliant Dominici, the Furia Francese strikes back. Skrela's sure foot gives France a 23-14 lead at half time . Great match so far.
