That occurred to me too; I have adjusted the costs in such a way as hopefully the AI will work better in 1.8
We shall see.

Well that's strange, the map in my LOTR book is excactly like the map I posted..:hmmm:
I might be doing something totally wrong, but I can't find no Uruk-Hold in any of my Dunland settlement building browsers. Please tell me how to recruit those damned Uruks!
Oh and I forgot to tell you guys how nice it is that you made voices for every unit of every faction. Amazing work!
Kill a few men and you're a murderer,kill a million and you're a conquerer.
SpartansDontDie,
There is one group of buildings (other than prebuilt indestructibles) that do not appear in the Building Browser, read the text under your City Development building icon!
What exactly are you referring to as not correct by the map? Our only change has been that out of necessity to fill any gaps not filled because of absent cultures/factions...for example, Rohan has Aglarond though it should be dwarves, Rhovanion is largely keyed to easterlings as dale is not present, etc. and therefore not possible tech wise to respresent...
Thx re the voices; it's nice to hear someone appreciate them - or at least our work at including them

There are hardly justifications for doing so when you just need to look at the building browser and look up the City Development thread. It's a block of granite with tools crossed over it. Right-click on it and read what diversification buildings it opens up if you build it. We have to keep somethings a little hidden to give surprises!

i understand the unit size differences. but i was wondering if i could mod them maually. i know how to do this and it doesnt bother me to do it. but your mod isnt in a normal mod style folder that i can just open up and mess around with things. or am i just looking at the wrong place? is it all confined to the batch file? and if it is, how can i open it and mess about it. i do love the mod though. thanks for the good work.
ss97lp,
Glad you like it.
The mod files are in the CI folder which can be found as a subfolder of the vanilla BI folder. The bat file only exists to run at installer exit to prepare your files for the mod so as not to overwrite vanilla.

cool, that helps a lot, i cant believe that i didnt notice that. so whats next, are you going to add more factions? i would love to play as the elves. (but i think i need to do a little more reasearch seeing how i have only watched the ring movies.
thanks
Great mod! It is full of wonderful tolkienesk details and my reason to put MTW2 back in the shelf for the next time. Will you later include more non-humans? I know that those dunland people can recruit orcs, but a playable orc-faction, perhaps in the misty mountains would be great- and you have most of the needed units already. I have not yet seen any orcs- perhaps you could take orcs also as rebels, like those normal rebel armies.
At last: Thank you for this great mod!
are mumakils recruitable,wich faction,which region???
Mûmakil are recruitable by the Haradrim in the regions with the ivory resource.
Screenshots Competition! Win a Copy of Half-Life 2!
Vassal of gigagaia, Brother Knight to Professor420 & Jones King
i think it would be awesome to add in the elves. im seeing if i can do it myself. let you know how it goes. orcs would be sweet to.
men, I love you. This mod kick ass!!!
Help! I have a problem. When i start the game, with the mod, it says 'Error loading mount database. Script error in bi\ci/data/descr_mount.txt, at line 485, column 1. Could not find battle model 4amount horsekoda.'
EDIT : Now it says 'Generic error. Unable to find skeleton 'fs_axeman'.'

Erax,
Please follow the installation instructions carefully. That error comes from not doing so. Please ask questions if there are any steps you do not understand.

If you close the dos, you don't have to redownload, rather reinstall. (RTW and BI sometimes. )
Yeah, but stupid me deleted the exe.. (i got some space issues you know), so i had to redl it.
