It has to be updated, but it explains most of it.

Cheap, patientience you must have young Padawan
    Selfconfidence you must have.

For Legions you need Imperial Palace + highest barracks in a province were a shield ins displayed on the map.
So your actions lead to nothing, just wait and play the game.

Apparently you didn't look thru the maps and stuff I provided to explain the Area of Recruitment....and have inadvertently discovered the truth! There are no Legions recruitable in Italy!

So forcing the Marian Reforms while Rome controls Italy will get you nothing.
If you want to see the Legions, play Custom Battles. But the Legions are only recruitable in the 10 designated Roman Military Bases....all of them are outside Rome's starting postion. Areas outside Italy with the small Legion shield are where the Legions can be built. The 'Very Early' Legions can be built in Italy and it the regions with the shields.

The 'Very Early' Legionary will appear as you build 'Army Bases' in those areas.

The 'Consular' or 'Early' Legions, which are the first of the named Legions, will replace them in the Army or Royal Baracks after Marian reforms.

The Imperial Legions will only be added to the Legions available after you build the 'Roman Military Base'.

The Praetorian Legions will be available only in Rome after you build the 'Castra Praetorium'.

I will say this, if you sit in Italy and do not at least take Mediolanium and Patavium, the Marian Reforms could theoretically occurr, and most of your troops would disappear. So you should AT LEAST have those two AOR bases.

Ok did i get it right, IF the Marian Reforms accurr your earlier troops will disappear???
Or just the possibility to recruit them anymore?
Asking cause i got them already and all my troops remained in place just the recruitment is switched to newer units.

I´m not sure but i think that even in italy itself there is one region where Legions can be recruited atleast there is the scutum displayed.:hmmm: :hmmm: :hmmm:

That's a mistake from an earlier beta version...thanks for pointing it out. I'll remove it.
