    Do you have an interesting tweak for The Long Road?
    Do you have a fix for The Long Road?
    Do you have a great addition for The Long Road?

    Post them here. If they are small, you can add them as attachments.

    1. A description about what it does
    A temporary fix to the compatiblility of Xenophobia 1E with TLR 1.9.10
    place the txt into TLR's data directory
    the vanilla factions should now speak their correct language respectively
    the reason that this is temporary is that the new faction may not speak the correct language

    four new factions will speak the languages of the factions that has been replaced by them.
    papal state=kiev= speaks italian?
    the below are not localized
    aztec=syria
    mongol=abbassid
    timurids=khwarezm

    2. The version of The Long Road it was based on/compatible with.

    2. I'm actually not sure... i think it is 1.9.8, but i will make it compatible with the newest version soon!

    I'm aware that Bergen province might be to much of Norway, it will be fixed.

    What did you change exactly. I saved it into my data folder and now the languages are completly off, before French, German and English were working and I get a CTD on trying to continue my campaign.

    Hey all i noticed that i werent the only1 who didnt like the long building times an cost ect... so i made this change

    1. all buildings an construction times have been set down in time an price
    2. tweaked kings purse from 2500 to 5000
    3. changed the end turn time from 0.5 to 1.0 = 1 year per turn

    just put the descr:buildings in your long road data folder
    an put the dscr strat in imperial campaign also in the long road data folder

    this version is for TLR 2.0

    My personal prefs...

    All factions other than the one im playing, change Kings purse to 7,500 and the faction controled by the player gets 2,500.

    All units maint cost reduced by 50% and purchase cost reduced by 25%.

    End result, more units, better ai becuase it has more units to play with.

    Sure, see your PM box, what ill do over the comming weekend is redo the unit file so as to tinker with unit sizes so that towns have larger units sizes, castles smaller, and gain another size of unit of same stats but larger in manpower as the town becomesa city, missile units smaller, mercs cheaper to hire but more to maintain, home units generaly being cheaper to raise, and so on, coupled with more income from buildings rather than a large kings purse for all which i was using as stop gap.

    What i want toi achieve is more unit density, albiet that they will be smaller unit sizes, quicker replacement rates of units,rather than the long wait for enough troops..and to make combat last longer and be less deadly.

    The unit costs are to expensive to,if i replace the des_unit for other script ( vanilla) this will interfere in the game?

    u mean if u use the vanilla script for tlr 2.0 =?? yes that will interfere ingame

    u gotta use the TLR 2.0 des_unit txt if u wanna change anything

    What numbers should i change?For reduce by 50% the costs and upkeep.

    Shortly after Torns next release ill have a scn for TLR, it will be for BYZ only as a palyer.

    Some things in it.

    Longer combat through most units haveing more hps, (except the players) extremly increased unit densty from the get go, wide range of units availble based on city size and increased in volume supply by approriate barracks, and size of men in units based on pop level of city, focus on multi stack army and copperating with your own stacks to defeat the AI, income from most buildings, reduction on reliance of kings purse as your and the AI economy grows acording to whats build rather than a rely on the kings prurse.

    Nice addition. I hope you'll update it when I release the next version.

    Btw, the Abbassid Caliphate existed and was a client state of the Great Seljuk Empire. So was the Caliphate of Syria. They were both technically part of the Great Seljuk empire and then split up.

    I know they were existed but the sultan of the abbassid iin your mod is Jalal ad-dawlah Melikshah I and he is the sultan of the great seljuks.And one more thing your syrian flag is wrong it is the flag of the great seljuk empire.

    and surely I'll try to update it in the next version maybe I'll try to make a khwarezmian bloodline too !!

    Anybody could replace the unit men numbers 112.90.45 and the old prices ,now is insane to recruit any ordinary unit ,and the AI don't do so much,the game is to boring ,im in 30 turn ( kiev ) and i just cant recruit any good unit just because my annual profits are insufficient.
    PS: I try to use some random scripts ,copy paste ,but the game don't run.
    PS2:The archers don't do so much ,120 mens firing against a level 1 unit armor and kill 5
    or 7 mens each volley...or less.

    I didn't change much just some values in descr_strat like increaseing kings purse up to 5000 for PC, up to 7500 for Mongols/Timurids and 9000 for Rebels also I added extra 2000 gold for each faction. After considerations I've decided to keep rest of stats as they were in orginal LTR2.0. I'm playing with France right now and experience much chalanging and interesting gameplay. AI is expanding quicker and field more units but balance is keep and economy remains main factor.

    Neat. I especially like the capital garrison scripts, although they appear too strong for my tastes. Here's an idea, how about testing the armor events and spawning units based on that.
