I seem to be having the same trouble as the guy on the last page. I get a CTD any time I play Byz against any Euro faction it crashes.. I read your response to him and wasn't able to make much sense out of it. I have both K&K and your mod in my main game folder and everything is where it needs to be (or so I think).. Any Ideas?
I pissed off the edge of the wall.. slept in a sky cell. Fought with the hill tribes... so many adventures
I'm using Ultimate AI, but I put that also into the main game directory.. So I'm not usuing a BAT or anything to start my game... Maybe if I removed UAI and used it as a launchable mod?

The paramonai cavalryman(actually palace mounted guard) updates kataphraktoi's skin
Pronoiai for lancers.(Actually this is kataphraktoi)
and the palace guard canbe Byzantine infantry.

The Kataphraktoi that CA included in MTW2 seems to be in reference to the super heavy Kataphracts that were reintroduced for a short time during the Komnenian period. I intend to make the Kataphracts based off of that as well since I do not plan on redesigning the unit structure of the Byzantines just yet.
If you install the mod to the default location, which is not in the mod folder, as I set in the installer everything should work just fine. In fact the mod will not work to my knowledge if you put it in the mod folder, however if you put the modeldb file in the mod folder under the correct directory it might work that way but I have not tried that. If anyone is having an issue with a specific faction just let me know and I will try to recreate your issue and see if I can help.:hmmm:

Figured out part of my problem, I added Burreks textures in and they both worked fine.. Theres a problem though now with using RealCombat.. I don't know why but when I use it, I get a CTD (worked with Burreks no problem) I'd like to still use these skins but without the combat mod the gameplay will blow. Its weird that I get a CTD when using it as they dont share any common files..
Any ideas?

ok i have a question i play road to jerusalem and this mod is incorporated in there now i want to upgrade to ur new version, but the exe file u gave is for vanilla, and im horrid at modding this game manually, plus he already has both burreks and skymod working and i kno if i just let this intall go through theres gonna be problems

Crusader related... Going to go clean out the RealCombat mod and see if its not this texture rather than the actual coding itself

I just noticed that, you have two different kind of dismounted lancers. How Do I get the 2nd kind? The one that has more silver for each level.

I'm curious as to why the battle.model file featured includes compatability for K&K's units, but not the textures?
I suppose it may be that that wasn't your intention. But I am curious if it could be? Given that you are doing reskins for byzantium and byzantium only, would it be possible to see these done possibly with encorporated K&K?

Hmm...now i have my comps ****ing up. After I installed your mod, it worked, and everything was perfect. Now something happened. Everytime I try to battle in campaign, it exits the came and it said "Medieval II has encountered an unspecified error"; but for some reason, I can play custom battles...I just played one, with about 1900 soldiers. Should I reinstall the mod? or should I reinstall, the whole game?
