5. sorta....I wasnt thinking of Hesperia and it isnt used by Ovid nor Virgil but Ill give it to you. Yes.
NB. I was thinking about Ausonia from the tribe Ausones led by Auson, the son of Ulysses.
Your turn.
I tried to find it, but damn that was hard. I only said Hesperia because I found a map entitled "Virgil's Italy." It was another guess, at best!
I actually have to go for a bit, I'll post some questions when I get back. Thanks, Ippius!
Alright, here we go:
(1) How many people did the second Theatre Royal seat?
(2) What African culture was named after a village where terra-cotta figures were found?
(3) How many capital cities does the river Danube flow through?
(4) Where did the cultivation of tulips start, and what year?
Ouch that was quick.
The last two are wrong.
So close! All are correct except (4). While it is native to Turkey, I'm looking for the place that it is said to have truly been cultivated. Here's a hint (I'm a little afraid that it might give it away, but we'll see): For a short time, it was considered currency due to the flower's immense popularity. Also, forget about the year reference, the place will be suitable enough. That's kind of picky, eh?

Lord Comnenus is correct!
(1) How many people did the second Theatre Royal seat?
Answer: The second Theatre Royal on Drury Lane was designed by Christopher Wren, who also designed St. Paul's Cathedral, and allowed the seating of up to 2,000 spectators.
(2) What African culture was named after a village where terra-cotta figures were found?
Answer: The Nok were an influential group who made many terra-cotta figures, iron weapons and tools, whose influence can be seen in later West African cultures.
(3) How many capital cities does the river Danube flow through?
Answer: Four; Vienna, Bratislava, Budapest and Belgrade. The river also runs through 44 cities in total (including the four capitals) and is Europe's second largest river.
(4) Where did the cultivation of tulips start, and what year?
Answer: The cultivation of tulips started in the Netherlands in 1562 when a cargo of bulbs arrived from Turkey. In the 1630's the flowers became so popular people invested large sums to develop new varieties.
Alright, Lord Comnenus; take it away.
