Re: When will be RTJ 2.0 Full out?
Im currently maping as best and fast as I can but for 2.0 it seems that you'll have your so wished bigmap. For now Im working on accuracy about regions, names and a few more settlements but that wont be a mess, dont worry. I'll make it just more epic and funny (well I hope so ^^) without using bigmap
Be patient ppl !

All that is missing is map... and map just has more reasons so...
just use regionsmod + RTJlite and it works Great!

I've got directions to combine them.

Re: When will be RTJ 2.0 Full out?
Well, I thought big map was good till I those AI had some trouble.
Hope you test it out first and see how it'll work out. I had 50 turns with no factor being at war on very hard setting being silicy. Nor was there any Crusade btw unless I call it.

Well, bigmap seems to have a bad rep cause of the AI's difficulty with it. You may want to use a different map mod Ramm, there have been suggestions made about different mods somewhere here.

Re: When will be RTJ 2.0 Full out?
I used BigMap 0.8 with Ultimate AI 1.0 and can confirm that the AI did have some trouble with it. However, the initial "peace" was a welcome change from Vanilla and things only started heating up once the factions had clearly aligned through alliances. When there were no more Rebel territories to take, war broke out, which was very realistic. Much, much better than Vanilla where war breaks out with a backstab from an ally on turn 5.
I'll be testing RTJ 2.1 BigMap and post my observations when it comes out.
I've also thoroughly tested the Royal Arms map used in RTJ 1.1 and, while it is a decent map, it gets way too crowded and the chokepoints are all but impassable. If there were only a happy medium between BigMap and Vanilla - say 50% instead of 100% increase in size - then we might see something interesting.
I'd say it's worth testing BigMap even though there might be the risk of the AI being a bit weird and taking a long time to complete turns later on in the game. Vanilla and the Royal Arms map in 1.1 are just not an option for me.
