Tira 'cchjiù nu pilu é cunnu ara 'nchjìanata 'ca 'na parigghjia e voi ara scinduta!!!
This mod is starting to surpass anything else out now. I know the map has for a while but now it is well and truelly raced ahead and its only the begining from what I've read. Well done Ber, and I only came here to look at his puppy.
"Yeah tho I walk through the valley of the shadow of death; I shall fear no evil... for I'm the meanest sonofa in the valley."
First of all, excellent mod!
But how do I change the faction names back to Kingdom of England? I am not so crazy about Normandy and Anjou, House of... etc.
Are there other titles like Earl of Wessex, Duke of ... etc?

Many thanks for this update. I was just wondering about the victory conditions. It says in the readme that they are different from those listed in the camaign menu and I assume different from those listed in the win conditions file. Can you give an indication as to what these new conditions are please?
Outstanding! Thanks for your hard work. 0.91 has been a blast and I've had no crashes after 200 turns.
nice work hopufully i can help u for the ano domini v 1.00
I just downloaded AD 0.92. I see the readme lists the following... I'm thinking there's a typo... you list Catholic when it should read Orthodox or Islamic (last line and 3,4 lines from bottom)
Faction Invasor Faction Owner Global reputation
catholic catholic -0.3
catholic orthodox -0.2
catholic islamic/rebel -0.1
orthodox orthodox -0.3
catholic catholic -0.2
catholic islamic/rebel -0.1
islamic islamic -0.3
catholic catholic/orthodox/rebel -0.1
Yep correct lines are:
catholic catholic -0.3
catholic orthodox -0.2
catholic islamic/rebel -0.1
orthodox orthodox -0.3
orthodox catholic -0.2
orthodox islamic/rebel -0.1
islamic islamic -0.3
islamic catholic/orthodox/rebel -0.1
The evil inside "copy & paste" stroke again!

Ber, I'm finding myself short of time to play...but today I got a few hours in and Capet has expanded to control all of present day France, and half of Spain...I got a message saying global domination was imminent :o
Also war is everywhere in the Balkans and Asia Minor and provinces are being traded between the Turks and Byz.
Turks also lost Jerusalem to rebels. Venice is at war with HRE.
Lots of aggression, I'm excited
I am curious Fuzz. Are you playing .92A or .92B. When you say there is war every where, do you turn off FoW and actually see that battles are happening or are countries just at war with one another? Are you able to discern if the wars are true wars that the AI decided to conduct or do they seem more along the lines of council of noble missions?
.92B
And yeah, I do turn off FoW to see what's up. I only do it every 10 turns or so, and I miss most battles. I'll post a pic sometime soon of the minmap. HRE has taken one of Arpad's territories now, and Anjou took a city from France.
At the moment Frace has not attacked anyone besides rebels.
Constantinpole is now rebels, but I think I saw a Byz army heading over to retake it after the Turks sacked it.
Popey likes his land. This seems like the Council of Nobels stuff, every so often they take another area.

Here HRE has taken Polish land and other not-nice things.

Just posting this for neatness, after a Crusade, Capet expands. In the turns following this they took Acre and the territory above it as well.

Capet down south in Spain--seems like Nobles things as well
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h5...texpands-1.jpg
This one I can't figure out. Capet has Burgess, I look away, and a few turns later the Anjou vs them, and Burgess is theirs. I'm not sure what's going on as they aren't at war...but there is a large French fort there...perhaps it went Rebel and then England capitalised?

Arpad is doing stuff too.
http://i61.photobucket.com/albums/h5...11/arpad-1.jpg
Overall it seems only HRE is violently expansionist vs other major players. But the aggression is suprising but I'm enjoying all of it. Some how as Scotland and mucking around up north I'm in 3rd place and taking some more territories...
Love this mod!

Fuzz, after looking at your photos, the minimaps in particular, I would disagree that HRE is violently aggressive. The territories that most of the nations have acquired would seem to fit a pattern of council missions on the starting lesser factions for the most part.
Bare in mind, I am not trying to point it out as a complaint but rather as useful information for R. B. to use in fine tuning his mod.
I know everyone would love big clashes of civilizations but the point are:
1) Historic points
a) they didn't happen. For example the only war I remember in middle age between HRE and France was the Battle of Bouvines for the control of Flanders and it didn't last that long.
b) they didn't happen because mantaining an operational army was impossible to be economical sustained by most of the monarchies.
c) Most fo the kingdoms were a lot busy fighting rebel vassals and consolidate the statal power (a process lasting centuries).
d) shifting like the ones you witness in a decade in MTW2 were usually accomplished in 200-300 years (think how much time it took for various turkish populations to put an end to the Byzantine Empire).
2) Gameplay points
a) continuos wars usually bring weak and depleted opponents ready to be slaughtered by the player.
b) having faction disappearing by continuos wars is a malus, not a bonus to gameplay
c) I want to make the player feel the pressure on every battle, not just "well, it's another siege, let's autoresolve" *yawn*
So the first step was to put a stop to the overagressive and suicidal-tendency AI. But this was just the first step. I'd like to have continuos fights everywhere but in a "controlled" way, not Milan expanding in Russia or HRE building an empire in Sub-Saharian regions.
Thanks for your feedback but rest assured that what you're experiencing is still far away from the finite state of the release.
