Following their defeat on the Kings road...

The contingent of men that fought valiantly on the Kings Road limped back in joining the main army at camp. Nearly a third of the troops stationed here were sent out and that third was now splintered and wounded. Word was reaching the ears of all in the camp. The death of the Red Queen and Rhaenyra...
Lord Thaddeus awaited in his tent to be summoned to review the events of the battle. He also awaited Gerold, to see how he fared and if he honored the Reach and House Rowan. With him sat Robert Rowan, his heir, the less physically capable of the two sons present. Robert could only hope his brother fell in battle. Maybe then he would be worthy of father’s idolization and title. Robert always had a sneaking suspicion that his father would replace his eldest son one day...
Jonothor Rowan paced awaiting his uncles return. He had not seen his Tully uncle in a couple days, though he wished to, he was kept busy by Thaddeus in daily activities. He grew impatient, awaiting his chance to see his favorite uncle.
