In my opinion, the rebels in TATW should have something wilder on their banner than just a sword and an axe. They're the kind of folks out in the wilderness lurking for prey.
Just a thought, dunno if you can make something with it.

The Rebels faction is pretty broad however, so something more generic such as a sword and axe (maybe a pitchfork as well), symbolizing the arms taken up against their former masters is probably best. Rebels can be anything from an Orc fortress gone rogue to a group of wildmen bandits.

Yes, exactly, sword and axe can work with all people of middle-earth including orcs and elves. So be it !

I'm playing DaC but still I could not find what are those icons corresponding to ? Are they emergent factions like ents and reunited Gondor (under Aragorn) ?



If yes, I need to think about faction icons for those as well

The one on the left was for the Riunited Kingdom. We don't know if or when they will be implemented.
The one on the right was for Fangorn, but that faction was deleted.

So... You don't have to do anything for them.

Tried it, but they just are more pixellated, so prefer to keep that way

Currently I'm redoing all the town/forts icons as well as you can see below...
It's horrible to do (and then it will be the banners symbols )

I'm also currently working on a new menu background (tired of the old one ).
Here's the mockup for base TATW. I am thinking of adapting it for DaC as well (as a submod or if the team love it... who knows).
