    i would love to see you guys going for 4 tpy. was wishing you'd do it from day one.
    absolutely love this mod and was planning to start a historical letsplay but the fact that 4 tpy was somewhat destabilising the game iirc, (unlike 2 tpy) held me back. would be great if 4 tpy went official. appreciate you taking that into consideration.
    The seasonal effects for 4TPY have been properly added and also overhauled in the upcoming update. Chances look solid that we will be returning to 4TPY in the main version and release 2TPY as submod.

    @Plush_Salmon

    I've lowered movement ranges already by 15% for this update, may need to lower them a bit more. Roads now strictly increase movement range on the road itself, as opposed to the entire traversable area. Technologies should also be adjusted, being somewhat slower to research (as a compensation, libraries have been made more powerful).

    4 tpy gives you time to learn your Generals and leaders which 2 tpy does not.

    With regard to imperial legionaries and time constraints, I think it would be appropriate to stretch the boundaries of history and allow the player to progress through military reforms based on turns rather than years. (From what I remember this is the case, but the earlier comment made me unsure).

    Thank you everyone for your input. The people have spoken; with a majority vote, 4-TPY will be the standard campaign format following the January update. 2TPY will become available as submod
