Thread: A question

    Default A question

Does having an army on a conquered settlement relieves unrest?.

I ask this because i'm having some issues with my Pontic campaign because the unrest on Bosporan possesions doesn't seem to decrease even with an full garrison and a Symmachia type of goverment.

Maybe it's the culture but I can't change my type of goverment because the public order lowers to red or blue.

There's a maximum impact of a garrison, past which point it doesn't matter how many units you have present (60%). Also note that if it's one of the pastoral provinces, the garrison impact is halved.

Which settlement is it, and could you screenshot the settlement summary screen showing order?

Cycles of unrest are pretty much unavoidable, but then the powers of that time were busy taking care of rebellions, pretty much non-stop

Distance from the capital penalties are halved as well - it balances out.
