The first poll has ended earlier this morning and we have now the 3 finalists who are:
- Katsumoto
- Lifthrasir
- Makanyane

Thank to all those who took the time to vote and special thank to cedric37 for his submission.

I have made the 2nd submission thread in which the finalists will post the complete set of badges (24 - see OP for details). The submission period will last 4 weeks (starting today) but might be reduced depending on finalists work progress

All members are welcome to comment the submissions here to help the competitors to improve their work. Thanks in advance

I think that by font, it means the russian cyrillic alphabet.

I don't think we need to limit the font choice as long as it keeps the Cyrillic?

though possibly a bad point to realise my font won't print Cyrillic characters! Will try a customised л .

I was trying to find script/brush looking ones and best I could find were
Bulgaria Moderna
and
Elowen Caps

was also struggling a bit with the 'Confucius' supplied in the OP have found free pics of
this statue
and different view here
which might be a bit easier to work with

There's a slightly strange issue with mine - I've gone through the compression thing and the files on my computer are down to 5k or lower, but by the time I've uploaded them to the hosting site they're coming back as a bigger file size, which I really don't understand! Anyway here are the actual files that were uploaded.

I've checked them and they look fine for me. They're all less than 5kb, the Censor one is even less than 4

Edit: I think that we also need to replace the Curator one by the Consul one since that position has been recently renamed

To the other competitors, I propose to keep the submissions thread open until the end of the month (for modification) and to start the final poll on the 1st of February for a duration of 2 weeks. Thought?

I just checked through the submissions to see if there might be anything which I might comment on to help alls ya'lls improve things, and I must say, excellent job you three! I think there is one that stands out as my favorite, but the field is definitely very closely spread. Just great stuff!
