Question on Submod rules

if am just editing text files of the RS3 mod can i realeasea submode as long as i credit the creators of the RS3 mod ?

The answer to your question: If your mod contains material created by someone else, assume that you need to add credits and receive permission to use those files. You don’t need permission to create a submod of RSIII (it’s already granted) but if you are creating a submod containing another mod, it’s best to get permission—in some cases, creators can have your mod taken down if you didn’t receive explicit permission.
