Default 64 bit windows 10 GPU problems

I just bought a new laptop with GTX 1050 GPU, 64 bit Windows 10 OS and tried to play Rome 2. It seems that only intregrated Gpu is being used and GTX 1050 is not. I read somewhere that because Rome 2 is 32 bit, only integrated gpu will be used. Has anyone encountered this before and know any tips to resolve this. Any help is gretly appreciated.

    You could try:
    1) Open nvidia control panel in global settings, select high performance nvidia processor. Hit apply restart Rome 2 and your nvidia card should be now the primary.
    2) Check here for more info.
