How to use mods downloaded off the TWC with the new steam mod manager update?

I seem to be having a problem getting mods I downloaded from the TWC to work with the new mod launcher from CA. They just don't seem to load properly. I put them in the data folder just like before the launcher update, but it doesn't seem to work. I even rename them, adding extra '@' to make them load first. Yet still doesn't work.

Can anyone help on this issue?

EDIT: never mind, I forgot to tick the "enable out of date mods" since the UI changed a little.
