Thread: Berserkers and Huscarls swaped around?

Default Berserkers and Huscarls swaped around?

In the game, beserkers are shield-bearing defensive units, while huscarls are shield-less axe-wielding super offensive guys.

Shouldn't it be the other way around?

Berserks were actually using shields and wear heavy armor. They weren't naked mushroom addicts, if we don't talk about fantasy berserks.
And huscarls I believe were using two-handed axes, though not necessarily.
    Anyway, nothing weird about that.

Wikipedia article mention sources where berserkers were bare-chested or used only wolf-skins. Besides that, it also mentions they were used as shock troops both by some kings. I would think such a background would fit more coherently in an offensive position, which would be translated in the game as offensive troops unlocked by the research of offensive branch, instead of defensive as its now.
