    Default Changing 3d model textures / masks

    Hello,
    So I am trying to make an all white-ish roman general.

    and I found this cool breast plate, but it cant be tinted, its always brown.

    So I Copied the att_bel_bel_cuirass.rigid_model_v2 and got its textures.

    Then I Edited the Diffuse and Specular to be more white, and renamed all of them with a 2 at the end :
    "att_bel_bel_cuirass2.rigid_model_v2" and re added to the pack,
    Also pointed my variantmesh definition to use the new 2.

    Model is STILL brown in game. I then decided I would create a new mask file for the textures.
    Still brown.
    added this mask file without the "2" at the end incase the textures were still pulling from the original..
    Still brown!....

    Also quick side note:
    Any idea why a piece of armor in Tweak with all white 255/255/255 looks like a nice realistic gray color, but then when tinted 255/255/255 , in game it looks like blatantly white.. ?

    See that skirt from up above, look at it in tweak.. looks way better out of game..

    So i oped the .rigid_model_v2 file with HXD and see that it is pointing to the original texture files,
    tried adding a 2 in this hex editor but didn't appear to work ><

    Well i solved one error by using tint values below 1. so 0.6 etc.

    Sorry I could not help you much sooner, It is very long time since I have worked on Attila.

    But never add letters or digits to a name in HXD, replace instead.
    So instead of att_bel_bel_cuirass2 do this att_bel_bel_cuiras2.

    This makes alot more sense actually. I thought about this too late. I found a different chest piece model that works from R2 and gave up on the bel_cuirass.

    Pretty awesome how easy it is to take things from R2 to Attila. Wonder- does TOB use the same skeleton system too?

    Yeah TOB use the same system completely, so in theory you could re-add Pikemen i TOB and so on. Haven't had time to test it myself though.
