Thread: I just wanted to say; Thank you.

Icon14 I just wanted to say; Thank you.

I'm sure releasing an uncompleted version to hold people over was a hard decision. It's no doubt caused stress, and all kinds of hectic work to be done.
(Also pressure to keep actively going, which is a bittersweet good point IMO.)

Even though I'm "THAT GUY", who's not actively playing the mod yet because he want to sack Rome as a German/Celtic faction, I've played a few hours worth of Carthage, and I think a Desert faction.

Just wanted to say thanks for keeping at it, and showing your work. So many great mod ideas have died due to inactivity, and with Rome II continually updating (even to add family trees), this mod project could have been one of the easiest to drop under pressure.

    Thanks Again.

Indeed. I am looking very forward to how this one evolves. It is going to be played for a long time. Especially with the way CA has been going in its design recently.
"Therefore I am not in favour of raising any dogmatic banner. On the contrary, we must try to help the dogmatists to clarify their propositions for themselves. Thus, communism, in particular, is a dogmatic abstraction; in which connection, however, I am not thinking of some imaginary and possible communism, but actually existing communism as taught by Cabet, Dézamy, Weitling, etc. This communism is itself only a special expression of the humanistic principle, an expression which is still infected by its antithesis – the private system. Hence the abolition of private property and communism are by no means identical, and it is not accidental but inevitable that communism has seen other socialist doctrines – such as those of Fourier, Proudhon, etc. – arising to confront it because it is itself only a special, one-sided realisation of the socialist principle."

Might as well say it here instead of starting a new post, Thank you!
This is what I think most people expected out of Rome 2 and I've been having an absolute blast. Thank you all very much

Been playing at least about 60-80 campaigns as Rome. My biggest game was like 133 turns before game ctd permanently. (Average game length is about 20-30 turns before ctd permanently.) Been having a ball on the bigger campaigns, even some roll playing with Emperor's family. This mod is something else, all good, THANKS MUCH FROM ALL OF US!

Good to hear. It is currently withholding me from starting a new campaign in this awesome mod.
