Unit exp chevron effect
Hi commanders
Tell me about, how do you drill your armies? Is it better to train your light infantry from start of the game or disband the moment you get somomething better (and less trained and costly?)
How much differs 0exp melee infantry to say 1 golden chevron same infantry?
I mean for example: 1 chevron = +1 attack skill and defence skill ect
For ranged. Does it increase accuracy and rate of fire? And how much?
What about stamina?
Is it linear? So +1 silver and +1 golden chevron adds same ammount?
Thanks and kill them all

Re: Unit exp chevron effect
Thanks, but I am using mobile phone. It shows just very small part of that table with a huge emptiness above it. But from what I can see, it increases stats in whole numbers, not in percents.
It means that low starting value increases same as high.
Ex:
Javelin men with melee attack of 10 and rate of fire 7 (mi.damage stays same) gets in short time higher multiplier to stats then say hastati (much higher starting me.attack and with 1 pilum)
Effectively decreasing gap in battle performance
Most extreme is for scorpion with rate of fire of 2. After a few battles it almost doubles...

Re: Unit exp chevron effect
Probably wrong way copy/pasted.
Its small table.
stat value growth_rate growthe_scalar
stat_accuracy 0 0,2 0,5
stat_melee_attack 0 0,2 0,2
stat_melee_defence 0 0,1 0,5
stat_charge_bonus 0 0,2 0,5
stat_morale 0 0,1 0,5
stat_reloading 0 0,2 1
As i understand, it should be no bonus values (+0) and two different multiples. I experimented some time ago but i do not remember correct formula.
