Bio: Born in 1050 he is the youngest child of Hugh de Lascy, grown up as a child he never knew his mother as she died in childbirth. He spend his entire childhood in the shadow in his older siblings. Being a silent but dutiful boy to his father he grew up submissive and a thoughtful man. Walter inherited that famous piety too from his father. Whenever he felt alone he would get to pray. However growing older he was sent to carry out duties in the name of his father, like campaigning in Wales. After the invasion his father arranged his marriage to the Queen's sister, a prestigious match. However it was in his nature to be submissive and it came to a great surprise to Adelize how different Walter from other men is, loyal, kind and respectful in every way.
That said Walter is no great warrior at all, preferring other ways to be of use. His appearance didn't make him look like a warrior either being small and thinly build. Though he could not be considered unhandsome. |
