Let's Play¬Roma Surrectum III¬ Pergamon(1-turn)

Hello fellow Total Warriors,

I have been requested by a few followers of my small(200+ subscribers) youtube channel(link in my signature)to make another Let's Play of this superb(and my favorite) mod, only this time as a 1-turn campaign.

DETAILS
I am using the ALX .exe incl. a 4gb file to help stability, Play One-Turn, on h/vh difficulty, large units, Sinuhet's custom AI battle formation submod, modesty, less emergency & garrison script, unlimited men on battlefield, no autosave, no event cutscenes, no green arrows or settlement labels. I never use romeshell "cheats" and there are no pauses or saves to replay/alter unfavorable situations, no auto-resolve I fight every battle, what you see is my actual gameplay win or lose, warts and all, I play and record each episode with "live" unscripted commentary in 1920x1080x16bit HD resolution.

I don't profess to being a great player nor youtuber by any means, I play TW for fun and record my campaign gameplay to share my exploits and hopefully entertain. I do this for my enjoyment I am not monetized(this usually means there are no adverts unless technically impossible) but you can still like/subscribe to encourage me. Any feedback, advice, suggestions, questions and constructive criticism are all welcome....just don't be rude....or else

I remember exterminating almost every settlement in Asia Minor as they kept rebelling against me. Pergamon for example.
Anyway good to see my UI textures in this Let's play. Do you like the new UI?

I think I'll restart a Roman campaign soon. My legionnaires will soon conquer the world again.

Yes I do, they are excellent, I have commented favorably on the forum before

.......I never play as the Romani, I did try a run through of 50 turns or so, and as much as I would have liked to continue and command legions I found them a bit OP, I therefore felt it would be too easy as a campaign. In the those 50+ turns(on h/vh) I had already destroyed Carthage just using my starting army and fleshing them out a little with aux units, Mercs + retraining them ofc whilst building a strong economy. I have played as them on the WWC submod for RSII where I found the campaign to be a bit tougher

Roman units OP? Lol. Yes, you can fight Greeks and even Carthage easily if you have the ships. But you'll have a hard, hard time against the Gallaeci and the Dacians... the Dacians. I hate them. The drove me back into Italy one time. At a certain point the city of Ariminum was at danger. Haven't gone so far yet, but I think the Parthians are the true enemy of Rome. Plus you'll face 1 or 2 rebellions as Rome, together with an economical crisis.

Playing as a nation with horse archers... that's OP.

I've played as Dacia 0-turn h/vh and that was a massive challenge. I made an alliance with the Boii straight off, destroyed the Scythians quite quickly, took all rebel settlements around The Carpathian mountains, I then gave one or two as tributes to the Boii to keep them onside whilst I dealt with Macedon, I had them on the run...then the Romans came along attacking me everywhere....things began to go pearshaped, their armies were numerous, many with silver xp/upgrades and nigh impossible to defeat. Long story short, I just did not have the manpower and finances to fight them and Macedon(who were reviving) at the same time, I gave up in the end when the Boii backstabbed me, enough was enough it had become too exhausting lol
