It will be completed today.
Hip hip hooray!
Roland searched the continent for the man who'd done him in
He found him in Mombasa in a barroom drinking gin
Roland aimed his Thompson gun. He didn't say a word
But he blew Van Owen's body from there to Johannesburg

How can we update this? do we need to reinstall SS6.4 and start a new campaign?
PB,
Let me know when you release, I will put a sticky on Main SS Forum page, direct traffic into the new release, perhaps some extra footfall

Ok great thanks
There will be an installer. It is seriously large though, 19GB uncompressed!
Also includes the three mini-campaigns.
Holy crap you tricked me! Are all those campaigns good to go?

Pretty much yes, just doing some testing

Each one also has a load of optional sub-mods, around 15, such as a garrison script, hardcore battle AI version, different campaign AIs, 2 TPY, Real Rebellion, Enhanced Rebel generals etc.

Me too, been developing it for so long never had the chance to do anything but custom battles. Oh, thrtr is a historical battles sub mod included too.
It also has all the relevant files for the ReShade graphics post-processor, which looks fantastic and brings the game up to compete visually with R2TW etc.
The next update will include Georgia in the unused faction slot, implement units from the Magyar mod and also add another faction in the Late Era campaign, since Sicily does not appear. Does anyone have any suggestions? I was thinking about Burgundy. It would also be a chance to customize the unit set for the Late Era alone, and add in units from the Italian Wars mod.
Actually the Battle AI does best with the Late Era unit set, because it encourages a combined arms approach, infantry is much more capable and the player can’t just steamroller the opposition iwith superior cavalry play. In custom battles, with a 20% points advantage for the AI, I lose more often than I win, especially with the house rule that I don’t pause.

Burgundy or Sweden. Or Karaman.
Burgundy. Sweden formed the Kalmar Union with Denmark and Norway just 27 years from campaign start and was mostly inconsequential until about 1510. However Burgundy is right in between France and HRE and England, affects the outcome of the Hundred Years War, and helps determine who will be the dominant force in Central Europe.
Karamanids also make sense to counter the strength of the Ottomans and Mamluks as the Timurids invade.
But in the end I prefer Burgundy: Charles the Rash/Bold situation trying to create a Kingdom in Central Europe.

Will it be implemented in BGR IV & V? I'd love to see it there to add even more challenge
Does it require 19 GB on the hard drive after install? That's .. a lot! I'll better delete something.
"Alea iacta est"
BGR IV.
19.5GB, it completely replaces SS6.4.
Should I keep refreshing this subforum or it is more likely that it will be uploaded in the coming days?
