    Default AAA General's mod by Benjin--Great supplemental mod for DeI

    Hey guys,

    Just wanted to bring this mod to everybody's attention. I'm sure it'll get the front-page treatment either way. This mod is a great supplement for any mod, but in light of the new Roman rosters, it especially appreciated. Given the innovation of this mod, I felt that I had to get the word out. The mod is somewhat buried on TWC in the Rome II overhauls and compilations forum, but is front an center on Steam. Worth it!!!

    Yeah its a really cool idea for a mod, we talked about it when he was originally working on it. Would be great to have a DeI version eventually.

    Just noticed this when i loaded the game.... scutum bug using DEI beta 1 and 2.

    Hey GS,Oh, I'm sure the team and other 'insiders' we well aware of this innovative mod. This thread is pretty much a PSA for DeI fans that might be a bit out of the loop.

    Hey buddy. Sure. I like Benjin's work in general. I'm watching all his submods and waiting for them to be updated or fully DEI compatible.
    Like the Building icons one. Right Benjin ?

    I did some pre release testing of his mod and it was outstanding. I'm subbed to his mod on Steam and just waiting for him to finish some hellenic faction plus the public beta release of the next CA campaign dlc to start a new one.

    It's already compatible - here are some screenshots with DeI + AAA Gens (Rome) enabled together.

    The only thing that doesn't work at the moment, which will be fixed in the next update, is support for Macedonian Wars (Wrath of Sparta). Because the vanilla WoS campaign didn't feature Rome, I didn't think to give that campaign's Roman culture an art set ("Polybian", "Marian / Imperial" or "Grand Campaign"). As a result, when using DeI, they all show the default "Mark_Antony_EE" uniform at the moment.

    Yeah, I'll be moving back to Attila-Style Building Icons soon - I wanted to get AAA Gens (Rome) done first. It'll include new ED + DK + RoR () icons, and I'll release a separate version for DeI (unique icons for capital buildings (e.g. Roma) and any other new buildings that need them - going to get rid of the little modifier symbols as well since there are just too many to try and fit on it).

    I'm doing Egypt and / or Carthage next, since they were the top two most voted on AAA Gens (Rome)'s poll for the next faction's generals to receive the AAA treatment. They're going to have some new, unique assets made specifically for them to more clearly distinguish themselves from the other upcoming Hellenic-style factions afterwards.

    just noticed this on one of my generals, blank grey shiled, and some, for some strange reason dont have any helmet?

    I think the level 1 generals do not wear helmets, is that what you see? Also maybe Rome 2 HD is conflicting with shield textures in this (and DEI) so check if that fixes issue?
