When this game came out, I, like many others at the time, was 9 years younger than I am now.One of my lasting memories of this game was the blurry text. I could read it with some difficulty, but I managed alright.Today I fired up the game for the first time in a long while and found, to my horror, that the text issue was a lot worse than I remembered it.Installed the mod to increase the font size, but to no avail. In the years since release, my eyesight has worsened just enough to make it extremely painful to try and focus on the blurry letters, no matter how big they are. Such a strange thing...

Not only that empire still runs terrible even in my new high end computer. Random lags and stutters both on campaign map and battles. Totally unplayable imo. I own the game since launch , and i was never able to finish a campaign due to ctds and such.

In my mind is the worst Total war game CA ever released. Even worse then Rome II.

At least Rome II is playable, and nicely optimized.
