I am trying to add growth as a limiting factor to buildings. I have successfully done it but I have found that the AI will not build buildings after using it's initial starting growth points it gets in the beggining of the campaign.
For example lv1 buildings do not require growth points but most lv2 buildings require 1. So if I set the growth points to 2 for the start of the campaign the AI will upgrade it's port and main building and then not update anything or build anything. I know for a fact it could.
Any insight would be super helpful. As the player this is a really fun limiter and way better than the tech system.
My other option is to just make everything take a long time to build and cost more to stop the AI from building up super fast since I removed the tech system.
