    Default [Submod] Stronger Heavy Units

    Hi All,

    This simple mod boosts performance of heavier units.

    Changes:
    -increased armour values for units wearing medium and heavy armour (so at least linothorax, scale or mail armour)
    -increased differences in weapon damage (bottom tier weapons got decrease to AP while better tier weapons got small bonus to base and AP damage)
    -small buff to HP of hoplites and pikes

    No, he doesn't intend this submod as an improvement, more of a buff for those who think heavy infantry is too weak.

    Hey guys, a weird thing has happened with the submod. I don't know the precise problem here, but I can take screenshots if you want something tangible.

    In any case, with the submod turned on, and it only seems to affect Roman Marian/Imperial legionaries (so excluding Camillan and Polybian reforms), the Marian legionaries now have a base melee defense of 48, a base melee attack of 47, and their armor is around 80. Veterans have a melee attack of 57 I think, with a defense of 58 I think, with 80 armor as well. Then the Imperial units have their armor buffed even further.

    I'm vague with the specifics because it's all from memory, but I think something with the update has wonked up the submod. I was using the steam workshop version. Could someone be so kind as to check with their own version to make sure it's not something on my end?

    Hey dude, I've checked it out.

    I checked the Roman units only, and it appears that all Imperials have one of 90, with the 'Armoured' ones 95. The Germania Veterans only has around 48, which means it hasn't been updated yet.

    Are those armor levels? Because the german veterans have a lower armor rating than regular legio's, although 48 looks a bit low.

    Armor for best inf is 32. +2 compared to regular DeI.
    Must ask - do I have right numbers ?
